This IPC J-STD-001 Operator Proficiency Training Course
is a comprehensive, knowledge-based course that certifies
students to the methods and procedures presented in
the J-STD-001 Requirements for Soldered Electrical
& Electronic Assemblies document. This course
helps workers interpret the J-STD-001 specification
through lectures, demonstrations and lab work
The program is divided into 5 modules,
each covering a different technology or area of soldered
electronic assemblies. Students may be trained and
certified in any combination of modules that includes
module 1. These courses address all three classes
of manufacturing in wires and terminals, through-hole
technologies, and surface mount technologies.
Who Should
Attend?
Operators and technicians seeking to abtain a certification
to J-STD-001. In addition to lab work, students must
be able to understand and interpret technical information.
Certification
Upon completing the course each student receives an
IPC J-STD-001 Certification from Biztronic, Inc. confirming
that they understand the the requirements for soldered
electrical & electronic assemblies and have demonstrated
the competent skills necessary for meeting the demands
of modern electronic packaging.

and are held at our Training Center in San Jose, CA.
What Is Included
- Graduates receive either an IPC or Biztronic,
Inc. certification.
- All books and written materials are provided.
- For lab work, all practice circuit boards. Also
provided are Hakkol soldering and rework systems.
Student are also provided with microscopes and complete
lab work at high tech work stations.
